How does billing work?
You choose a term when you order. Monthly plans are billed each month with no contract. 1, 2 and 3 year plans are billed once, up front, for the whole term, and the price shown per month is that total divided by the number of months. At the end of the term the service renews for the same term at the same price. If a price must change, you get at least 30 days of email notice and can cancel before renewal.
Here is a worked example with the KVM 2 Linux VPS (2 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB NVMe):

The 3-year term saves $270.00, about 31%. Monthly billing costs more over time but lets you stop at any renewal. Managed VPS adds a one-off $10 setup fee on monthly billing only. Prices exclude taxes; checkout shows the total before you pay. See the billing policy for the full rules.
How billing works
Pay once per term
1 to 3 year terms are charged once at checkout, so your price cannot go up during the term.
Simple renewals
Each plan renews on the term you chose, at the price you paid: monthly plans monthly, 1 to 3 year plans for another term.
Upgrade any time
Move to a bigger plan from your client area when you need more power.
Pricing questions, answered
Will my price go up when I renew?
No. Each plan renews for the same term at the price you paid. If a price ever has to change, you get at least 30 days of email notice and can cancel before the renewal.
Are there setup fees?
Only on Managed VPS with monthly billing, which has a one-off $10 setup fee. Every other product and every 1 to 3 year term has no setup fee, and setup of OpenClaw and n8n is included.
Should I pay monthly or for 1 to 3 years?
Pay monthly if you are testing or need flexibility, since there is no contract. Prepay a longer term if you know you will keep the service: a 3-year term cuts the monthly price by about 60% on web hosting and about 30% on Linux VPS.
Can I switch from monthly to a longer term later?
Yes. Open a billing ticket in your client area before your renewal date and ask for the term you want for the next renewal. The new term is billed at the price listed for it.
Can I upgrade to a bigger plan?
Yes. Request an upgrade from your client area at any time. You see the price of the upgrade before you confirm it.
What is included in the price?
The specs listed for each plan. Web hosting includes free SSL, Windows RDP includes the Windows Server licence, and OpenClaw and n8n plans include installation and setup. AI model usage is paid to your model provider, not to us.
Do prices include tax?
No. Prices on this site exclude taxes. Checkout shows any tax that applies to you and the total before you pay.
Which payment methods can I use?
Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe, and PayPal.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you're new to serverserv, you can cancel your first order within 14 days and get your money back. Domains, software licences and setup fees aren't included, and the refund policy has the details.
