This policy lists the cookies and similar browser storage used on serverserv.com, in our live chat and in our client area at portal.serverserv.com, what each one does, and how you can accept, refuse or change your choice. It applies to everyone who visits our websites. How we use personal data in general is in our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar: they let a website remember a setting on your device. Local storage stays until you clear it. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.
2. How we ask for consent
- Cookies that are needed for the website to work, or that remember a choice you made (such as dark mode), are set without asking.
- Google Analytics is loaded only after you press Accept in the cookie prompt. If you press Decline, or ignore the prompt, no analytics cookies are set.
- We do not use advertising or tracking pixels.
- Live chat: The chat window loads on every page so you can start a chat at any time, and tawk.to sets its cookies when it loads.

The client area is a separate website. A choice you make in the cookie prompt on serverserv.com is stored only for serverserv.com.
5. Third-party providers

6. Legal basis
- Necessary and preference storage: needed to provide the service or feature you asked for.
- Analytics: your consent.
- Live chat: Our legitimate interest in offering live support.
7. How to change your choice
- Clear the cookies and site data for serverserv.com in your browser settings. The cookie prompt then appears again on your next visit, and you can choose again.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Necessary cookies in the client area are needed to sign in and check out.
- Install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout to stop Google Analytics on all websites.
Your choice is remembered on your device until you clear it.

If we add new cookies or providers, we will update this page and its date. If a change needs new consent, we will ask you again.
